From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During takeoff roll on runway 31 around 30-40 knots KIAS, the aircraft began an uncommanded hard left turn. Pilot aborted the takeoff roll at that time aircraft exited the runway into the grass. The right hand propeller hit two runway edge lights before coming to a full stop. No significant damage to property occurred. Pilot and two passengers were not injured. Maintenance crew will perform required prop strike engine maintenance and will troubleshoot nose whell steering system. Once mechanical cause is determined, this report will be amended.
