From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

At approximately 6:35PM, sept 12th 2018, an Aviat husky N868X landing runway 18 at the Bentonville municipal airport (vbt). The aircraft landed and bounced several times. The aircraft started to veer left on the runway. The pilot attempted a go-around and the aircraft continued left exiting the runway while the airmen reacted and pulled back on the yoke entering into a low-level stall spin condition. The aircraft?s wing impacted the ground and a hard landing spread the gear, sheared off both blades of the prop, and came to rest on its belly
