From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot stated he delayed turning final due to an airliner departing on an intersecting runway. The pilot wanted to be sure the airliner was clear of his flight path before he landed. When the pilot turned on final he was faster and higher than normal and slightly past center line. The pilot said he had a 20 degree cross wind and gusts. The aircraft touched down about 100 feet past the threshold then bounced about 3 times. The pilot was on the brake hard and put the flaps up during the event. On the third bounce, the plane landed hard on the nose gear causing it to brake and collaspe. The aircraft skidded to a stop.
