On October 01, 2018 at approx. 1150 local time, a Beechcraft V35, N7997M, registered to curtis hedlund corporation impacted terrain at bracket field airport (poc) while on a personal flight. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time and a VFR flight plan was not filed. The aircraft was destroyed and the pilot was fatally injured. The flight originated at bishop California on October 1, 2018 at 1020.

VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME AND A VFR FLIGHT PLAN WAS NOT FILED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS DESTROYED AND THE PILOT WAS FATALLY INJURED. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT BISHOP CALIFORNIA ON OCTOBER 1, 2018 AT 1020.
