From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Initial investigation revealed the right fuel tank had about 50% of the fuel in it. The engine showed excessive gaps on the left bank of the cylinders where the rocker arm actuates the valve head. With the position of the engine at the accident scene we cannot determine if the pushrods were damaged in the accident. This will be further examined after the aircraft is recovered by the owner.

Until the investigation is complete it is premature to speculate on a corrective action.
