From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

The DA-42 fleet was downed by erau and inspected for any door locking mechanism and annunciator switch rigging issues and a couple loose latches and switches were noted. Maintenance was conducted to correct issues on other aircraft and the damaged N591ER awaits and repair solution due to the door brackets on the top side of the aircraft door opening have been damage that is composited into the fuselage. Awaiting special repair order from the manufacturer. No injuries to personnel.
