From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Upon landing runway 15 the left main landing gear tire initially touched down in the grass on the left side of the paved runway surface. The pilot reported a right crosswind during the landing flare which attributed to the touchdown point. The aircraft continued veering off the left side of the runway into the grass; pilot stated he subsequently lost all directional control during the landing roll out. The left wing struck multiple fence posts running parallel to the runway, resulting in damage to the left wing leading edge, wingtip, pitot tube, and propeller.
