The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
On takeoff and climbout, aircraft was not producing adequate power to continue flight. A decision was made to land straight ahead. Pilot descended to avoid contact with power lines at the end of runway. After crossing the highway under power lines the aircrafts right wing struck a ditch on the other side of the highway and spun the aircraft 180 degrees into the field collapsing right main gear and sheared nose gear from the airframe. Damage was also sustained to the right wing.
