From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Mishap pilot (mp) was taxiing in clear weather on snow covered runway on skis. Aircrafts left ski caught snow berm and aircraft veered left. Mp applied power to try and recenter the aircraft. This exasperated the situation by accelerating the aircraft into a snowbank. Aircraft flipped end-over-front end and came to rest upside down.

Pilot is 85 and had large abrazed-bump on his head and was transported to local hospital for observation. Released w/in 24 hours.

Passenger was unhurt.
