From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On feburary 24, 2019 at approximately 1552 local time aircraft N8230P a Piper 24-250, landed on RUNWAY29L at Fresno international airport (fat) with the landing gear up. The pilot was out for a flight when he was prepairing to land at chandler airport. The landing gear light did not come on so he performed the emerency proceedures and it still did not come on. The pilot was communicating with the personnel on the ground, which said that his gear was not down. Chandler does not have an active tower or emerency equipement so the pilot decided to divert to fat. At fat the pilot did a fly by to confirm that his gear was still not down. The tower confirmed and cleared him to land on 29L. He landed gear up and with no injuries.
