From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On August 18 2019 at 1950 Alaska local time, N87010 landed at an area 22 miles southwest of Fairbanks Alaska called wood river butte. The pilot was alone in the aircraft. After landing, the pilot began braking to slowdown. The landing area was short so the pilot applied too much brake and caused the aircraft to nose over and completely flip upside down. The pilot sustained no injuries. The propeller struck the ground and sustained substantial damage. The upper part of the rudder was crushed and the right wing struts were bent. Weather was no factor.
