From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot was performing power-off 180-degree accuracy landing to runway 14, and the first two landings were successful. On the third downwind leg of the traffic pattern, he requested a transponder code for flight following in order to practice other commercial maneuvers in the practice area to the west of the airport. The pilot stated he was focused on touching down at the chosen spot and did not notice that he had forgotten to lower the landing gear. The aircraft landed with the landing gear still raised. The aircraft landed on the belly of the aircraft and the propeller struck the runway. The aircraft received minor damage to the bottom of the fuselage and the propeller tips.
