From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot stated that he approached the airport from the south, entered the pattern. On his first attempt to land determined he was too high and went around. On his second attempt (65 knots, 30 degrees flaps) he landed in the first 1/3 of the runway. He stated that the runway surface felt rough so he delayed applying the brakes a little too long and rolled out further than intended. The aircraft rolled off the end of runway 21. He further stated that the prop struck the dirt after departing the runway and came to a stop resting against the perimeter fence.
