From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On March 4th 2020 at approximately 1500 local time privacy data omitted was flying N729PA (phxa 806). They were conducting traffic pattern work for runway 24 at Flagler airport (kfin). After they touched down on runway 241 privacy data omitted wanted to retract the flaps as they were practicing a short field landing. Instead of selecting the flap lever privacy data omitted accidentally selected the landing gear lever and moved it to the up position. The instructor and privacy data omitted both reacted to this motion and moved the gear selector back to the down position, but at this point the right main gear retracted and the undercarriage of the aircraft made contact with the runway. Description of damage is as follows: 1- RH wing tip and aileron have abrasions from wing strike and scrape

2- RH flap balance weight brackets fairing has significant removal of material from the lower half

3- Empennage lower fin skin above tail skid is broken and torn. Lower tail fin mostly detached above and aft of tail skid.

4- RH engine prop strike.
