From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Airman privacy data omitted (PIC), student pilot 3375429, returned to ktoa after making a solo cross-country flight and landed on runway 29L. After privacy data omitted landed he tried to suddenly turn onto the first taxi way, but did not realized he was going too fast and as a result, miscalculated his turn and hit a sign causing damage to one of the 3 blades of the propeller, the left pilot step, inboard corner of the left flap and left trailing edge wing to fuselage fairing. He then established contact with the tower to exit the taxiway and was granted clearance to where he stopped, shutdown the aircraft to perform a general inspection.
