From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 4/22/2020 at 1500, N731BH was on a maintenance test flight and #1 engine would not re-start after being shut down intentionally. Aircraft was at winner aviation,W6NR, for major inspections and both engines were sent out for hot section inspection. A required test flight was necessary to check the throttle rigging. After shutdown of #1 engine, it failed to start. An emergency was declared and aircraft landed without incident on runway 14. Investigation revealed the "adel" clamp securing the engine fire detection wire vibrated loose and rotated down. When the engine was shutdown, the clamp wedged in the engine fuel shut off linkage, preventing the linkage from coming out of cut off. A new clamp was installed and checked for security. Engine run up and operation checked good. Chief inspector held a safety meeting with all the technicians and made sure they all understood what happened and how to prevent it from occurring again.
