From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Prior completed three landings / circuits in the pattern. On the 4th landing, about 20 ft above the ground, diminishing airspeed was noted by the pilot. The airplane settled quickly, multiple bounces. Once the plane was on the ground, airplane drifted to the right, pilot overcorrectedd several times while trying to gain control. The airplane left the runway and came to a stop, approx 12 feet off the runway.

Tower contacted the pilot, asked if he was able to move back across the runway, pilot received clearance and proceeded to parking.

The airport manager soon arrived and informed pilot that he had run over a runway light when moving back across the runway.
