From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On the morning of 05/22/2020 at 11:40 local time the pilot of N5183X was practicing takeoff and landings at the Carbondale/Murphysboro Airport kmdh on runway 18R. On touchdown from last landing the pilot noticed the aircraft swerving from side to side. In a preemptive attempt to stop the aircraft from possibly ground looping the pilot applied rear stick pressure and maximum braking. The excessive brake usage caused the tail to then raise on end and the nose cone and propeller to strike the runway damaging the propeller spinner and propeller. The airplanes tail section then lowered very quickly under its own weight and caused substantial damage to the rudder and vertical stabilizer sections.

As the FAA filed it
