From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Owner reported an issue with a left hand roll and nose wheel track and a hard pull to the right while taxing the aircraft. The mechanic took aircraft out to taxi and confirmed the hard pull to the right. After troubleshooting and repair, I determined that the pull to the right of the nose gear was fixed. Next I took the aircraft out for a flight. I determined that the roll was fixed, on landing as I was flaring out and dropped the nose to the deck, when the wheel contacted the pavement the aircraft made a hard turn to the left and ran off into the grass. Unable to determine the exact component failure of the nose landing gear due to the extent of the damage.
