From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On June 13 2020 N740TT, a Hawker 800XP , from toluca Mexico landed rwy 36L, during rollout the aircraft left the runway skidding and spinning crossing rwy 32 coming to rest between rwy 36L and rwy 36R. The 2 pilots and 2 passengers reported no injuries.

Pilot statement, verbatim;

We took off from toluca Mexico at 4:30 pm local bound to Laredo Texas taking 2 pax ,everything was ok, until at landing in Laredo at 5:57 pm at 36L runway at touchdown I felt a vibration on the main landing gear ( the one that Hawker says it can happen when you soft landthe aircraft), than the nose touched down in the central line ok , I opened the thrust reversers at idle, than the spoilers, not at dump, I eared a roar and the aircraft started to drift to the right I moved the steering wheel to the left and the rudder , I did not have any respond all of the sudden the aircraft turned sharp to the right like 45' degree and got out off the runway spinning at an aprox speed of 90 knots, it keept spinning and jumping up and down for like 20 seconds , so I grabbed the control column to have it stable at possible so we do not hit the wings or nose, we got out like about half way of the runway 36L to the grass ,than entered the 32 rumway after d taxiway and than in to the grass again spinning and we ended up in the grass before 36 r runway, with the engines running and the reverses in iddle deployed. I shut everything down fast and seeing that everyone has ok got the passengers out and than we got out fast from the aircraft. The fire truck arrive fast and they started to spray foam to the aircraft. Police arrived and we went to check customs. We went to see if we can take the aircraft out but the truck broke down. So we did it next day at noon and where able to take the aircraft out to customs where they check it. We took it to signature hangar with no visible mayor damage. The mechanics arrived and they saw right away the possible cause of the accident, they found a piece of the main left chassis by the landing gear (part 400 #) arm broken that holds the fuselage and both main landing gear. Nobody got injured.

Co-pilot statement, verbatim;

The plane had taken off from toluca, Mexico at 16:30 local time. During take off and through all phases of flight the aircraft behaved as it had during the last days it had been flown. That is to say, no mayor faults were found with it other than the tires, which were already being set up for being replaced. During the landing phase, specifically during landing gear extension, we felt the main gear shaking. . The plane had touched down on the runway safely and was being set up for normal deceleration. At around 100KTS, there was a loud noise. Immediately the aircraft veered to the right and could not be centered again on the runway. Very quickly we found ourselves outside the runway, through a grass fiel. The airplane began turning right more violently pretty much as soon as we exited the runway, and this resulted in the airplane spinning to the right as it kept moving through the field. The inertia carried the plane through a runway next to the initially mentioned grass field, and onto another grass field next to that runway. We had landed on runway 36 left, exited it on the right side at about a 45 degree angle, and crossed runway 32 to finally have the airplane stop at the grass field on the other side of runway 32. During the spinning the aircraft shook badly, and it was heavily damaged by the end of it. Myself and the captain had several times called for the aircraft, tail #N740TT, to be taken into maintenance due to the need for the tires to be replaced and also because it was already overdue for its 48 months inspection.

As the FAA filed it

ON JUNE 13 2020 N740TT, A HAWKER 800XP , FROM TOLUCA MEXICO LANDED RWY 36L, DURING ROLLOUT THE AIRCRAFT LEFT THE RUNWAY SKIDDING AND SPINNING CROSSING RWY 32 COMING TO REST BETWEEN RWY 36L AND RWY 36R. THE 2 PILOTS AND 2 PASSENGERS REPORTED NO INJURIES.

PILOT STATEMENT, VERBATIM;

CO-PILOT STATEMENT, VERBATIM;
