From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot/owner of this aircraft departed wiley post airport(pwa) okc,OK. After an ADS-B installation. The pilot was returning to his home airport, (1K4). The pilot stated that he was in the pattern for landing runway 13 and completed his pre-landing checklist and observed the gear down indicator. The pilot stated a normal final approach was executed until touchdown. It was at this point he realized the gear apparently retracted. The pilot stated the touchdown was fairly smooth and nearly on centerline. No post landing fire ensued, minor damage occurred to the inboard sections of the flaps, belly and propeller tips. The pilot also reported that the both flap and gear handle were found in the down position. After the aircraft was moved to the hangar a gear retraction/extension test was performed by a certificated mechanic. It was at this time an intermittent squat switch was found, initially preventing retraction. After a few actuations of switch it began to function normal. It is undetermined on this switch's ability to interfere with gear extension, but may have been a contributing factor.
