From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft landed from odessa, Texas uneventful and dropped off passenger. During departure to return to odessa aircraft reached 74 mph and attempted rotation. Aircraft lifted off then returned to runway. Pilot decided to abort take off. Aircraft failed to stop in time prior to hitting fence at end of 4000' runway. Pilots actions and decisions in 10% flaps, high temp 102, aircraft load weight approx. 700LBS contributed to hitting fence. Left wing impacted fence, this swinging aircraft letting right wing hit fence. No major structural damage noted.
