From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft entered the airport traffic pattern and began the approach to runway 28 at wooster-Wayne County Airport (kbjj). On short final the pilot noted the parallel taxiway appeared to be open. The distraction of the taxiway status caused the pilot to flare late resulting in a bounce off the main gear. The aircraft then landed on the nose wheel striking the propeller. The pilot cleared the runway and taxied to the ramp. During the post flight the pilot discovered the propeller was showing signs of contact with the runway. No other damage was noted. The aircraft has a very large propeller resulting in little ground clearance (4-5 inches). The propeller appeared to be lightly damaged.
