From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On August 7 2020 at St Johns, AZ (ksjn) at about 09:30 the pilot made an approach to rwy 03 in aircraft N15LG. As he landed he let the aircraft roll as he stated he usually did. He said he did not want to tax the brakes too much. As he rolled out he realized the aircraft was not slowing down, as the rwy is downhill. He then begun to apply brakes, and stated the right brake was grabbing more than the left and the aircraft started to pull to the right. As the pilot tryed to control the braking and the aircraft direction, he realized he had used most of the rwy and may depart off the end of the rwy. He then decided he would continue straight off the rwy into short brush. As he got to the end of the rwy his landing gear struck a rwy light pulled the aircraft to the left and headed it toward a big berm. As the propeller hit the berm the aircraft turned to the right and slid down the berm coming to a complete stop. After exiting the aircraft he noticed when the aircraft turned right, the left wing end cap had struck a pipe sticking up from the ground along the berm. He exited the aircraft with no injuries.

As the FAA filed it
