From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 8/11/2020 at approximately 1325Z N615MW, with two souls on board, was attempting to takeoff from runway 04 at M91 (Springfield/robertson county airport, TN). N615MW began its takeoff roll from the A3 intersection on rwy 04 allowing for 2264 feet of useable rwy. N615MW attained 45 knots at lift off and stayed in ground effect in an attempt to accelerate to 55 knots but was only able to achieve 48 knots. N615MW began its climb in attempt to clear 38 foot transmission poles near the departure end of the rwy. Realizing that obstacle clearance would not be attainable the pilot made a left turn followed by a 90 degree right turn and landed in a ditch off the departure end of the rwy 04. The aircraft impacted level then rolled on its left side where it came to rest. Following aircraft recovery, the engine was started and ran with nothing remarkable.

Weather at the time of the accident was indicated clam winds, 10 miles visibility, broken ceiling at 4700?, temp 24C, dew point 21C, altimeter setting 3004, and 88% humidity.
