From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

- 16 Aug 20, at 1627 (UTC), privacy data omitted privacy data omittedpilot privacy data omitted flew aircraft N7844P from eagle?s nest airport (T56) to Lancaster airport (lnc). privacy data omitted Overflew lnc runway 13 from the west entering downwind for left traffic, at midfield performed a before landing check list (gumps check), then lowered the landing gear handle, observing a landing gear down green light and observed the gears down position in the wingtip mirrors. Turning base leg, to runway 13, lowered the flaps fully and set the approach speed to about 95 mpg. The winds calm and straight down runway. The plane touched down on the touchdown markers, once all three tires were on the ground, began normal rollout. The aircraft straightened out and skid on it belly approximately 100 +/- feet and came to a stop on the runway, between charlie and delta taxiways facing runway 31. privacy data omitted Exited the aircraft reporting no injuries.

- At present time, there is no solid or distinctive amount of evidence depicting material degradation or pilot error as a contributing factor to the incident. However, I will remain in close contact with the pilot and the repair station selected to perform repairs to the aircraft, in the hope, the repair station can provide any light on the cause of the incident.
