From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Approximately 5-10 feet from touchdown the aircraft seemed to have lost power and "dropped". The aircraft bounced hard and flew back into the air. The pilots tried to push all controls forward but the aircraft had started to yaw to the left.. The instructor pilot pulled the throttles back and the aircraft landed hard on the runway and continued to bounce to the left and exited the runway. The nose gear and the right main gear separated from the aircraft. The aircraft came to rest approximately 75 yards from the runway.
