From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Inspected aircraft and record on 9/28/2020. No one was injured. The aircraft records showed the aircraft status as current. The damage to the aircraft was limited to the prop, left main wheel pant, and the nose wheel pant. The pilot reported during takeoff roll the aircraft did not climb and the pilot aborted takeoff. He claims the engine was not performing. An evaluation of the aircrafts engine performance is being evaluated at this time. Atq is in open status.

After reviewing the engine performance information it has been determined the engine was performing properly. The operations inspector will be giving the pilot additional training. On 9/27/2020 the pilot failed to control the aircraft and input the proper controls during takeoff on a hot day, with an aircraft at max weight.
