From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft took off runway 14R. At 100 knots it ran over a barrier arresting cable. Shortly after at 125 knots, the aircraft abruptly swerved left without command. Aircraft managed to get airborne just as it departed left side of runway. After troubleshooting and burning excess fuel aircraft returned to kpam to attempt a landing. During landing, as the nose wheel touched the ground, the aircraft again swerved hard left and departed the runway. The rear seater activated the eject sequence as the nose wheel assembly broke. The rear seat ejected but the front seat did not eject. The aircraft came to a stop in the grass a few hundred yards later.
