From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

After landing on runway 02 at khvn aircraft veried left and departed runway into the grassy area.

Weather was clear and dry and winds were gusting. There were two people on board the PIC and one passenger. There were no injuries. Damage was limited to the propellor blade tip.

Pilot stated that while landing he felt aircraft bounce and pulled back on the yoke. After thinking the aircraft had settled he felt a side load so he started pushing on the rudder to regain control but the aircraft skidded off the left side of the runway into the grass. He was not aware the prop had struck the ground until the post flight inspection
