From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 4/6/2021, at about 0710 mountain standard time, N678WW and N172FK were damaged from a collision at the intersection of taxiway c & C12. At ramp 3, N678WW was cleared to taxi to rwy 25L at C11 via d and D11. On the way to the runway, he was offered with full-length departure at C13 via the east route from the ground controller and he accepted the new instruction. While he was taxing to C13 on taxiway c, N172FK was holding short of rwy 25L at C12 for IFR release. The student pilot attempted to taxi behind/around and his left wing came in contact with N172FK?s vertical stabilizer. Damage was limited to left wing leading edge damage on N678WW. N172FK sustained damaged on its rudder and vertical stabilizer.
