The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
On 5/03/2021 at approximately 1137 local time, the single occupant student pilot of a Jabiru J170, N772J, lost control during a landing on runway 32 at Winchester Regional Airport (okv) in Winchester VA. Upon touching down the aircraft began to veer left. The student pilot over corrected to the right and then again, over corrected to the left. During the process of attempting to regain control, the student pilot increased power to full in an attempt to regain altitude to go around for another approach. Lift was not achieved and the aircraft departed the left side of the runway at an approximate 75 degree angle. It then crossed a taxiway that runs parallel to the runway and entered a ramp area in between 2 hangars. The aircraft came in contact with one of the hangars and came to rest. The student pilot was taken to the hospital and released later that day with no apparent injuries.
