What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
The flight departed from spanish fork Utah (kspk) at 1840 MST destined for Paris Idaho (1U7). On stable approach to runway 34, the pilot in command (PIC) induced a hard landing. The PIC added power in an attempt to not run off the runway which resulted in the aircraft bouncing. During the second touchdown, the aircraft began to aggressively yaw to the left which caused the left wingtip to strike the runway. The aircraft became airborne again and flew over several ditches before landing in a field to the east of the runway. During these events, the left landing gear was shoved up through the left wing causing substantial damage to the aircraft.
