From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Student pilot was flying solo for a training flight. Pilot stated that he had been flying in the practice area between 45 and 60 minutes. After landing at pvg airport the student pilot taxied back to the runway to practice another normal takeoff. Here is the student pilot's statement:

"I lined up on the centerline and stopped. I applied full power. I sensed a mild drift to the right and applied left rudder. The aircraft then turned to the left and I applied (the usual) right rudder. The aircraft continued to veer left and I decided to abort the takeoff. I cut the throttle and applied the brakes but the aircraft could not get back to the centerline and I went off in the grass. I shut down and called for help." Signed privacy data omitted
