From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During company repositioning flight from ack to bos where VMC conditions prevailed. On approach the landing gear handle was positioned to extend position were the main gears extended and locked while the nose gear failed to extend. The alternate landing gear extension system activation was attempted with no positive results. Aircraft landed with nose landing gear retracted causing minor skin damage to nose area and propeller damage and engine sudden stoppage. Further investigation discovered a malfunctioned LH hydraulic system line preventing positive system pressure to properly operate landing gear extension cycle.
