From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On Saturday June 26, 2021 CFI was giving instruction to privacy data omittedstudent pilot.

After approximately 2.5 hours of instruction, they were landing at dwh on runway 17R. CFI was the one flying

And landed the plane. CFI made the landing and was slowing and rolling out, then handed off the braking of the plane to the student. Because this viking is not equipped with co pilot (right side) toe brakes. While attempting to slow/stop the student started veering off to one side of the runway then to the other and eventually added too much right side braking in which CFI could not override with left rudder. The plane eventually rolled off the right side of the runway and rolled over "e" taxiway signage. The speed at that time was down to approximately 15-20 mph. It was slow enough to turn off onto taxiway e. at that time they contacted ground control, then taxied to the hanger. The airplane suffered damage to the left and right flap, left and right landing gear fairings, minor damage to right wing leading edge, minor damage to root fairing of right wing. There was no sign of propeller strike.
