From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Investigation: inspector was notified by roc of aircraft accident on 06/29/2021. Investigation of accident aircraft N611K , reviled possible violation of 14 CFR part 91.113.

Airman flew aircraft into a low fuel state which caused engine fuel starvation.

Root cause analysis: airman self-induced pressure to complete spray application aircraft in an unsafe condition.

Corrective action: inspector advised airman that if he continued to ignore minimum safety standards that enforcement action would be only course of action remaining. Airman stated he will not fly any aircraft into a low fuel condition in the future.

Comments: counseling was used to regain safe operations. Airman was very cooperative and admitted to this inspector his mistake. In the opinion of this inspector, the airman/operator fully understands the consequences of his actions. Search of airman records revealed not accident or enforcement violations. In the opinion of this inspector, no lack of qualifications exist and recommend no further action.
