From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot was performing a normal traffic pattern to a full-stop landing at the completion of a cross-country flight. Pilot stated that he performed a standard before landing check in accord with the airplane check list and confirmed "three green lights" for the landing safe indication while on down-wind leg. Pilot reconfirmed "three green lights" while on final approach leg. On touchdown pilot states that he felt the mains touch and that the airplane continued to settle on the belly of the airplane as the gear collapsed. The propeller sustained substantial damage but except for gear door damage, there was little other damage to the airplane.
