From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

About 2 miles from 038 (gundy airport) the left hand engine lost power. Pilot maneuvered to land in a field. Pilot made a gear up landing because he feared flipping over by landing on rough and rutted ground. Pilot landed with gear up and came to rest with no injuries. This was the first flight in 7 years for this aircraft after a current annual. Reference sas task T-SW-FY21-1644 activity SW15202200160
