From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Airman privacy data omitted stated in part: "taxied to the parking ramp. At the ramp, I followed a scar in the cement that appeared to be an extension of the taxiway centerline. The airport manager informed me that the painted line had been removed because it did not provide ?adequate clearance.? I was planning on turning into a parking spot on my left. While focusing on initiating my left turn, I allowed my aircraft to drift to the right striking Cessna 172, N9334H with my right wing tip.
