What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Pilot stated that prior to landing he had three green lights indicating all gear were down and locked. This was affirmed by interviews with passengers.
Pilot stated this was a normal landing with no undue stress on the airframe. As the nose wheel first touched he heard sounds of a prop strike and pulled the nose back. Believing it was a nose gear failure he shut off the fuel and shut down the electrical system.
As the nose came down both props struck the ground and the aircraft slid to a stop.
