From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

I spoke with privacy data omitted, the student pilot, who was on a solo cross country flight. He stated that he was flying from sna to rnm for his first solo cross country flight as a student pilot. He said that the winds at rnm were 100 degrees at 7 knots and they were landing runway 9. When he touched down on the runway, he said that his aircraft immediately began to tilt to the left and he began to skid across the runway. He regained control of the aircraft when he was all the way over to the left side. He indicated that he did not believe he left the runway but he did see a runway light on the side of the runway and thought that he hit the light. He reported this to the airport manager. The airport manager checked the runway and there was no damage to any lights. privacy data omitted Then stated that when he got over to the parking area and stopped the aircraft, he noticed that the prop had been damaged and he had struck the prop.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ THEN STATED THAT WHEN HE GOT OVER TO THE PARKING AREA AND STOPPED THE AIRCRAFT, HE NOTICED THAT THE PROP HAD BEEN DAMAGED AND HE HAD STRUCK THE PROP.
