From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot was on approach to Riverside airport. When he put the gear down, the main gear locked but the front gear never locked and the hydraulic pump wouldn't quit running. It eventually popped circuit breakers and they would not reset. The alternator was knocked offline and the battery died shortly after. This resulted in a loss of all electrical power. The pilot tried to pump the gear down but it failed to lock the front gear. He pumped until the lever was very stiff and wouldn't pump anymore. Through telephone, the pilot was able to reach tower and was cleared to land on 1R. The aircraft touched down on the main gear and then lowered down onto the front belly of the aircraft. Damage was minimal.
