The airman was caught off guard during take off with a 5-10 KTS crosswind component which may have became a wind shift and possible wind shear. The airman identified that due to his limited time in a tail dragger he was expecting something else to occure as he made correction to the aircraft while it lost altitude and effective lift followed by the aircraft bouncing on the ground causing damage to the landing gear and propeller.
