From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Gear-up landing per pilot's statement: I was really distracted as I was too focused on the landing approach. While I was making this approach I was concentrating on the landing, and simply forgot the landing gear. When I came close to the ground, I heard the alarm come on, but I was sure that this was the stall alarm. I raised the RPM to about 1200, and raised the nose a little bit and kept my landing. That?s when I realized that the prop hit the ground first, and then the plane slid on its belly. When I realized I was on the ground without landing gear, I concentrated on keeping the plane level, and slid until I stopped on the grass on the right side of the runway. I turned off all power, and exited the plane as soon as I could.

As the FAA filed it
