From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

While enroute dwh to iws, aircraft N1972K, serial number 32R-7780030, the pilot reported a drop in voltage followed by equipment failures and total electrical failure. The pilot elected to return to dwh. The pilot reported the landing gear would not extend when activated. The pilot then reported utilizing the emergency gear extension system but had no way to determine if the gear was down and locked. A fly by the tower responded with an appearance of being partially down. During landing the gear was not in the down and locked position. There were no injuries and damage to the aircraft was minimal. Post examination revealed the landing gear to be partially extended.
