From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During approach, pilot experienced electrical "glitches" with his avionics system, such as "flickers" and losing the g/s flag on the HSI. When gear was extended, the instrument panel went dark due to electrical power loss. Pilot noted that the gear "felt" to be extended due to the drag and airspeed reaction. Could not verify three greens due to no electrical power on the instrument panel. Main gears were fully extended, touched down and then when the nose touched down it collasped causing the mains to eventually collapse before the aircraft came to stop. Pilot and passenger exited the aircraft with no injuries invovled.

As the FAA filed it
