From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

While flight training in a multi-engine aircraft, a single engine landing was being conducted. Just prior to touchdown the aircraft entered into a left yaw veering from over the runway toward the adjacent tree line. The instructor overtook the controls and managed to avoid the trees but the right wingtip contacted the ground resulting in a subsequent stumble over the nose before settling onto the ground. Both crewmembers egressed with no reported injuries. The aircraft sustained substantial damage with the landing gear collapsed, the nose section mostly detached and distortion throughout the structure.
