From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On April 03, 2022 N9119W was on approach to runway 15. Winds were reported at the time of landing to be around 220@10G20. Eyewitnesses and airport surveillance video show the aircraft approach the runway for landing with what looks to be 1 notch of flaps (10 degrees). The aircraft touches down and immediately veers to the left off the runway into the grass between the runway and adjacent taxiway. The aircraft continues up a hill of a drainage ditch and becomes airborne again in what looks like an attempt by the PIC to initiate a go around. The aircraft continues in a slow climb with a slight right bank but the wind is pushing the aircraft to the left towards a hangar. The aircraft is unable to clear the hangar and the left wing impacts the side of the hangar. The left wing separates and the aircraft continues in the air for another 50 feet before rolling and impacting the ground. The fueslage is contorted which is consistent with a roll upon impact. Passengers were seriously injured requiring extrication and further hospitalization. Aircraft was destroyed in the accident sequence. There was no post impact fire. Control continuity was not able to be determined onscene due to the amount of airframe damage.

As the FAA filed it
