From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On April 9, 2022, at approximately 1400 local time the pilot of N9885A, a Cessna CE-195, while taxiing in from a landing struck a parked airplane on the ramp at the bay bridge airport, Stevensville, MD (W29). The pilot stated that while making a right turn towards the fuel pump he struck a Piper arrow that was in a tie down adjacent to the taxiway he was on. He stated that due to the nose high angle of the tailwheel airplane he was operating and the fact that his visibility to his right is limited is why he did not see the parked airplane. The pilot said he had made several "s" turns while taxing but still did not see the parked airplane in time to steer around it.

His propeller made contact with one of the wings on the Piper arrow. His plane sustained only minor damage. The Piper arrow sustained damage to one of it's wings.
